CounterKulture Concrete Studio is the brainchild of two builders who had an intense appreciation for design, art, and the versatility of concrete. Together we have over 15 yrs experience casting the finest concrete surfaces in the Southwest. The CounterKulture Studio has built thousands of square feet of custom concrete countertops, fireplace surrounds, vessel sinks, and furniture for clients looking for an alternative to granite and other trademarked brands. We custom build our forms to any shape or design our clients can dream up! We have patented our own eco-friendly mix which contains over 72% recycled bottles from the city of Durango recycling program. Think about it, 72% of our mix is sourced less than three miles from our shop. That's what we call green! All of products are sealed with a zero VOC sealer that reacts with the concrete and densifies the surface to form a nice satin finish.
